Tablet mode was introduced to Windows OS for users who are fond of the square tiled navigation theme that comes with tablet devices. This was a handy feature for tablets with removable keyboards as this would switch to a simpler touch navigation.
The issue: This can easily be turned on by accident and unless you know what it is or where it came from, it can be difficult to find your way out.
Your screen should have a taskbar running along the bottom of your screen.
On your taskbar, next to the date and time is the Action Center. This will appear as a comment bubble.
Click this icon and you’ll see tiles at the bottom of the menu.
Select the ‘Tablet mode’ tile to toggle on (blue) or off (gray).
